The objective of the study program is to train experts, who by obtaining a high level knowledge and skills in commerce and marketing, business and economics are able to purchase and market various products that are demand-driven as well as to organise, manage and control small and medium sized enterprises. The undergraduate programme in International Relations is for individuals who are sensitive to global problems, open to other cultures, and are prepared to handle a broad range of evidence and analyse complex issues. They are also able to understand and interpret complexity, as well as present arguments in a clear, concise and effective manner in English. The programme is designed to enhance global perspectives and to learn how the world works. It also provides students with the knowledge of how to employ up-to-date theories, methods, and approaches. A multidisciplinary and flexible programme which combines a wide range of courses in international relations, history, economics, political science, foreign languages, sociology and regional studies, among other disciplines. The programme trains the students to be well informed about generally accepted tendencies, characteristics and data on universal political, economic and cultural phenomena. They will thus have deeper insights into and understanding of relations of various nations and cultures.

Objectives of the study program:

The objective of training is to train business economists who have appropriate economic, social, applied economics and methodological knowledge and are able to plan and monitor the activities and processes of business organizations, enterprises and institutions, to manage the company resources and production factors, as well as the business activities and actions.

The joint module of the Business Administration and Management BA consists of the following subjects: business communication, marketing management, business ethics, strategic planning and management, controlling, business analysis, organizational behaviour, business information technology, quality management, finance law, management of small- and medium-scale enterprises, decision theory. Important part of basic module is the two-semester Business English (or other foreign language) and different skill development (presentation techniques, career planning, personality development and communication training). In addition to the basic knowledge of economics, there is a possibility to study at specializations in the last two semesters of the course (Distribution chain management; Marketing; Business information system; Business management; Business finance). The students also have the possibility to take part in study trips organized to our partner institutions and businesses.

The aim of the MSc Marketing programme is to give participants an insight into both Hungarian and international marketing processes. They learn to carry out analytical tasks independently, to give greater accuracy to decision-making processes and to handle the complexities of domestic and international marketing issues by familiarizing themselves with the needs and desires of consumers in diverse sectors of the market.

To familiarize them with real business problems and possible solutions, there are opportunities for professional visits to businesses and in order to ensure a greater insight into institutional structures, external lecturers are regularly invited to give presentations. The high number of practical sessions and research tasks in the curriculum provide participants with ample opportunities for routine analysis and students are strongly encouraged to make contributions to the department’s research processes. Importantly, the programme also equips them with vital communication skills in foreign languages. This programme strives to achieve the development of students’ skills through the combination of theoretical and practical education, by encouraging training on an individual basis, and by employing a close mentor–student collaboration in the tutorial system.

The objective of the training is to provide specialists for the enterprises and non-profit sector, who have extensive and integrated professional knowledge about management skills. The graduates of the course are able to analyze, develop, organize, control and manage the procedures at the organizations of the private sector and the non-profit sector. They can recognize, analyze and solve the emerging problems while they use the acquired categories of individual and organized learning and utilize their abilities for innovation and creative thinking. There is a possibility to study at specializations in the last two semesters of the course (Business Consulting; Human Resource Management and Organization Development). They also obtain appropriate knowledge basis for going on with their studies in the frames of PhD training. This course also includes visits to national and multinational businesses so that the students could gain practical knowledge about management studies.

The objective of the study programme is to train experts, who by obtaining a high level theoretical and practical knowledge are able to analyse regional and ecological processes, to recognise relations and problems, to creatively and innovatively partake in regional and environmental policies, strategies and programmes and to follow regional and environmental sciences.

The students who graduate in the master's programme know:
Basic information on micro- and macro economy, regional and settlement studies as well as environmental economics, geographic and social studies;
Problem solving techniques to be applied as solutions to their tasks;
Criteria and conditions of adapting the acquired knowledge in practice;
Tools of orientation in the body of professional literature;
Information and methods required to recognise and analyse practical problems occurring in the environment-conscious management of economic and regional development.

The master graduates are able to

Work in the field of regional development and environment protection activities of various sectors, governmental and local bodies, institutions and companies;
Work both independently and as part of a team in analysing and planning activities, as well as to manage such teamwork;

The objective of the Master's Degree Program is to provide specialists for the tourism industry. Those who graduate the training will have professional competencies and knowledge in tourism management mainly in strategic planning, decision-making, organizing, managing and controlling enterprises and institutions in the sectors directly or indirectly involved in tourism. It provides knowledge of preparing and implementing complex tourism and hospitality development projects and has the necessary expertise to fill senior management positions. Graduates may be employed by municipalities, ministries and their background institutions, administrative offices, tourist destination management organizations, tourism businesses (accommodation, catering, transport companies etc.) and non-profit organizations. They also obtain appropriate knowledge for going on with their studies in the frames of PhD training. This course also includes visits to national and multinational businesses therefore students could gain practical knowledge about management studies.
